What Good Meta Ads Management Actually Looks Like
The difference between average and great Meta management isn't effort. It's knowing what to focus on.
Audience setup done properly. Your ads need to work in layers. Cold audiences who don't know you. Warm audiences who've shown interest. Hot audiences who are close to buying. Each layer gets different messaging and different creative. Most accounts treat everyone the same. That's expensive.
Creative as strategy. Meta's algorithm responds more to creative than anything else right now. A strong video or image with the right hook outperforms a mediocre one with the best targeting in the world. I treat creative briefs as seriously as campaign structure.
Conversion API, no exceptions. Apple's iOS changes broke the standard Meta Pixel for millions of users. Without server-side tracking through Conversion API, your campaigns are learning from incomplete data and your ROAS numbers are inflated. I set up CAPI for every client before anything else.
Honest reporting. I track your Marketing Efficiency Ratio: total revenue divided by total ad spend. Not just what Meta claims to have driven. Because Meta's attribution window often takes credit for sales that were already happening. Real numbers only.

Different Markets, Different Approach
Meta advertising looks very different depending on where you're running it.
UAE and GCC: High Instagram engagement, bilingual audience needs, strong purchase intent in certain categories. Cultural context matters in copy and creative.
UK and Europe: GDPR compliance is non-negotiable. Higher CPMs mean creative has to work harder. Purchase decisions take longer compared to the US.
USA and Canada: The most competitive market. Fast creative testing is essential. Audience exclusions need to be tight. Budget reallocation needs to happen quickly.
Australia and New Zealand: Smaller audience pools, so lookalike audiences can saturate faster. Frequency management matters more here than in bigger markets.
I adapt my approach for each market. I don't apply the same template to everyone.
